Application Process
You do not need to travel to Arizona; the process can be handled entirely by mail or online.
Complete Firearms Training: You must submit proof of an Arizona-approved firearms safety training program (e.g., NRA Basic Pistol, hunter safety, or prior state-recognized CCW training).
Get Fingerprinted: Non-residents must submit two physical fingerprint cards completed by a qualified fingerprint technician or local law enforcement.
Submit Application: Complete the application and pay the fee. You can fill this out online via the Arizona DPS Permit Portal and mail in your physical fingerprint cards.
